| The Marion County Humane Society is a nonprofit animal organization supporting Marion County's only no-kill shelter. We rely on the donations of our community to provide for the animals in our care. Our Mission: Providing shelter for homeless pets and promoting respect for humanity, animals and the environment. The role of the Marion County Humane Society: To provide a safe and humane sheltering facility for animals. To assure proper placement of homeless animals by adoption or by use of qualified rescue groups; To promote spay/neutering and responsible pet ownership. |

| NOTE: Our shelter always has a large number of unwanted cats and kittens. Would you consider adopting two? (Ask us about a two-for-one deal!) Two cats are twice the fun - but often not twice the work! When you adopt two, you give them both a friend for life! |
