August  - We will be selling a September Calendar with a three digit number on it.  Throughout
the month of September if that number hits the WV Daily Three Number the person holding that
calendar will win the amount for that day.

August 12th -  the Business and Professional Women of Fairmont has invited the Shelter to
speak for about 15 minutes and would like to have some of our animals there
.

August 23rd  - We have been invited to attend "Dog Days" at the I-79 Honda Mazda Auto at Mt.
Morris.  This event will be from 12-3.

October 18th - the  Buffalo Creek Dream Makers Conservation Club will be sponsoring "Pass the
Buck Pet Walk" this will be at the Middletown Mall. The theme will be Halloween.  They have asked
that we bring some of our dogs and we can dress them up.  There will be judging (one will be Ms
Lisa).  Please start thinking about how we can dress our wonderful pets.

November 2nd. -   The 4th Annual " Magical Evening To Give" at Meadobrook Mall.  We raised a
lot of money on this last year.  The tickets we sell are 100% profit for the shelter.  If we are one of
the top 10 sellers we will receive additional revenues for out Shelter <<< we can do this!  This
event was a ball last year. You can only shop the Mall that night with a ticket.  There are many
grand prizes and the biggest prize is $5000.00 for the winning ticket.  I will be picking up the tickets
in September to start selling.

We have been approved by the Meadowbrook Mall, Marketing Director to be the first shelter to ever
have a Christmas tree in their Mall for animals.  It will be like Adopt a Angel Tree.  Customers can
adopt, sponsor or make a donation in the animals name.  More details will be posted later....

Petco has agreed to let the Shelter bring dogs to their store on Saturdays. They will be inside and in
the adoption area.  There is not another shelter that brings in dogs now. Preston County brings in
Cats on Sundays.
