Recently Adopted Dog Lost - Please Help!
|
This story was posted just days ago: A pair of Dachsund mix
one-year-olds were adopted from the Marion County Humane
Society last week. Sadly, one of them (Lil Bit) slipped out of her
new collar and is wandering the streets of Fairmont. The dogs
have never been separated, and Lil Bit has never been an outside
dog. She has been seen on Clay Street and under the 3rd Street
Bridge. Her new home is on State Street.
Update:
Just days after this story was posted, a little girl discovered
the traumatized dog near the Times-West Virginian parking
lot. (How did she get across the river?) She is tired, but
she is in good hands. Thanks to all who helped us look for
her!
Great News!!! The dachsund mix in this story has been found!!!

This is Delilah - full-blooded Doberman Pincher she came to the Marion County Humane Society No Kill
Shelter after her owner did not want her anymore. We believe she is about 6 years old. Seeing that she
had a skin problem she was taken to the Vet and sadly found that while she does have a small skin
problem she also has Heart Worms. Our Shelter is not set up to care for Delilah once she has her
treatment. We desperately need to find her a forever home or Foster home for her to recovery once
treatment is given. She will not be allowed to over exercise or have a lot of activity. If you think you can
help her in anyway please contact our shelter at 304-366-5391 or you can email lisab686@comcast.net
or buddybear02@comcast.net
PLEASE HELP US GIVE HER A SECOND CHANCE!
