The decision to spay or neuter your pet may be the single most important decision you make for his long-term welfare according to the Humane Society of the United States.

surrender
If you have decided to surrender your pet, you will be required to pay a $50 surrender fee and to sign a release form transferring ownership of your pet. You will not be able to reclaim your pet. Marion County Humane Society's shelter is a limited-admission shelter. We assist all Marion County strays as a first priority, and we do NOT euthanize for space.
